The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge in Glenn County is one of the most inspirational places I photograph, and I am fortunate to live within a few miles of it. During fall and winter, the migrating waterfowl are in abundance. Spring and summer bring shorebirds and songbirds, and there are always opportunities to photograph deer, raccoons, and river otters.
